Thames Path Challenge 2024 · 14 September 2024 ·

We‘re the world‘s leading cancer charity dedicated to saving and improving lives through research. We fund research into the prevention, detection and treatment of more than 200 types of cancer through the work of over 4,000 scientists, doctors and nurses.

Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit our Allwyn Procurement Team JustGiving page. We will be walking the Thames Path (50km) on 14th September. The route will be from Bishops Park all they way to Runnymede

We are all taking on this challenge to raise vital funds for Cancer Research UK. Cancer is something I am sure everyone has been touched by in their lifetime. More than 3 million people in the UK are currently living with Cancer and what we do know is that early diagnosis can ensure that people living with the disease can go on to live a healthy life.

Please help us raise as much money as possible to ensure everyone gets the treatment and support they deserve.

£100 could pay for a patient's cancer biopsy where a tiny amount of a lump or tumor is removed and sent to be studied in a lab.

£250 could buy a special device used to spin blood samples until different types of blood cells separate. Our scientists can then study the different types of cancerous cells to find out more about them

£1,000 could buy imaging software that our scientists can use to film cells in real time

Please please donate whatever you can to this great cause who depend so much on charity donations.
