Hello World!

This year, for Zoë's brother's 30th birthday, Zoë and Toby Mason are climbing the Three Peaks in 24 hours.

But is a 30th birthday really a good enough reason to climb this many mountains, guaranteeing very little sleep with little-no training? Absolutely not. What is a good enough reason? Doing it for charity!

As such, we're raising money for tastelifeuk, a charity the Masons have been involved with for a little while. tastelife provides hope for those struggling with eating disorders, running courses across the country and online for to help give sufferers and their families and friends the tools needed to break free from EDs. Having taken part in courses and heard all the brilliant stories that come out of the courses, we've learned that full recovery from eating disorders is possible, and that people can recover a healthy, joyful relationship with food again.

Whilst this seems high level, the reality is COVID-19 and the cost of living crisis are exacerbating the stressful circumstances that cause people to develop mental health issues, including eating disorders. As such, we want to facilitate tastelife in providing the practical care needed to those who need it, and support the preventative materials that tastelife are currently developing.
