I'm training for the Great North Run on September 7th to support Fight Bladder Cancer — a cause that's very close to my heart.

Over the past two years, my amazing Mum has bravely fought bladder cancer twice. Watching her strength and resilience has been both humbling and inspiring. Throughout her journey, the team at Fight Bladder Cancer have been a constant source of information, guidance, and support — not just for her, but for all of us as a family.

By taking on the Great North Run, I’m raising money to help this incredible charity continue their vital work — supporting those affected, raising awareness, and pushing for better outcomes for everyone facing this disease.

Fight Bladder Cancer was founded and is run by patients and carers and has now grown to become the most active advocacy group and charity for bladder cancer in the UK.

FBC provides information and support to everyone affected by bladder cancer, runs national and local awareness campaigns, supports medical research into better treatments and campaigns at the highest levels to turn the spotlight on this much-neglected cancer.
