Story
Hi I’m Zoha - I’m a doctor and soon-to-be triathlete!
I recently started running (completing my first Half Marathon in Oct 2023) and girl math says that if I can do half, then I can double it and do the whole 42km.
So I’m running the London Marathon for a charity that is supporting hundreds of women enter the world of endurance exercise!
Fund Her Tri UK is a wonderful charity and inclusive community with a mission to bring gender parity to triathlons by breaking down barriers faced by women and non-binary people. They do some incredible work to increase female presence in a male-dominated sphere. I will be participating in my first triathlon with them in June 2024 (and I can’t remember the last time I swam more than 25m so that’ll be fun).
I want to inspire women to take on triathlons in the same way that a friend and fellow FHT triathlete inspired me. I want to show people who didn’t grow up with an emphasis on sport and exercise to know that it’s never too late to give it a shot! This charity is changing my life and I’m proud to be giving back.
