Story
Hi everyone! Please come and dance with me on Saturday 1st April 10:30-11:30am for my 40th Birthday! This year I have chosen to do something a little bit different for my birthday.. and to spend the morning dancing with you all and to donate to Dorothy House Hospice Care. This incredible charity has helped my Dad, Jonathan Spikes, so much over the past. I cannot even begin to explain how much this amazing man means to me, he has always encouraged me to do my best and has always believed in me and is the most strongest and most inspiring man I know and always will be. He also taught me three of the most important lessons in life: to be Kind, to be honest and to have a good sense of humour!
Unfortunately my Dad got diagnosed with PSP (Progressive Supranovea Palsey) which is a terminal illness. PSP is a rare neurological disorder and a complex condition that affects the brain and body. PSP also affects speech and ultimately limits movement and has many complications that result from worsening related symptoms.
Dorothy House Hospice Care has given my Dad something to look forwards to and he enjoys his visits so much. For him to feel so happy during his visits, my family and I are very appreciative of this wonderful charity. The staff at Dorothy House have given him so much care and support and I just want to help to give a little something back to them. Come and join me on my 40th birthday to support this amazing charity that have helped my Dad and so many other people with their end of life care. Dance, express yourself and just enjoy the feel good vibes! All money raised will go to Dorothy House Hospice Care. Please donate whatever you can afford to my Just Giving Page or bring Cash on the day.🫶🏽
Feel free to wear something pink to show your support for Dorothy House!💕
