All funds raised will go towards Saving The Survivors' (STS) life-saving work with Africa's most endangered wildlife, especially the injured animals that have fallen victim to poaching or traumatic incidents. The STS team are taking yet on another challenge. After raising over $25000 climbing Kilimanjaro, we have set our sights even higher!

We are going to attempt to summit the Himalayan peak, Imja Tse (Island Peak, 6189m), which is 825m higher than the Everest Base Camp (5364m).

This is particularly challenging due to high altitude and low oxygen levels. Even the strongest and the fittest can't always beat it and it's very difficult to prepare for.

As I've never even dreamt about doing this kind of challenge, walking for 2 weeks straight with limited sanitary facilities (never mind the low oxygen ;)), I'd welcome your support in a form of encouraging messages, company for my practice walks and donations to this wonderful charity.
