The Stroke Association - The Thames Bridges Bike Ride · 31 May 2009 ·

Every day in the UK, another 240 people wake up to the catastrophic impact of a stroke. The Stroke Association is the only charity in the UK providing lifelong support for all stroke survivors and their families.

Story

As is becoming something of a tradition Lewis and friends will once again be taking part in the Thames Bridges Bike Ride. This year the team will have four riders, Lewis and three friends, OJ, Hal and Wilson, who together hope to raise in excess of £5000. We are raising funds in memory of Lewis' father, Pal Foti, who died in 2005 after a series of strokes and Wilson' grandfather, Robert Wilson, who suffered a number of devastating strokes prior to his death.
