Without access to National Lottery funding and with only limited support from Government, we rely upon the generosity and goodwill of the people and businesses of Essex and Hertfordshire to remain operational and keep saving lives. we can’t fly without you!

Story

In September 2016, the Essex & Herts Air Ambulance Trust is organising a six-day trek in the Julian Alps of western Slovenia. This strenuous trip will involve lengthy daily ascents to mountain peaks and passes up to 2300 m altitude. The group will stay in mountain huts on our route through the Triglav National park. By taking part in this trek, we aim to raise money that will help the Air Ambulance continue its great work in Essex and Hertfordshire.

We will be paying for the direct costs of the trek ourselves, so that all funds donated or raised by our fund-raising activities will go in full to support the work of the charity.
