Mind All Star Charity Event

Mind Ice Hocket team for All star Charity Event · 27 July 2019
I have the honour of being selected to be an ambassador of the UK All Stars Charity event which is taking place the weekend of the 25th July 2020 and for the first time ever I am representing the amazing Team MIND, which is a mental health charity
The team has raised over £65,000 over that last 2 years and as a team we are looking to raise even more this year. All donations have and will make a massive difference to such a great charity
Here’s some statistics for you all to get an overview on why we are raising money.
- Approximately 1 in 4 people in the UK will experience a mental health problem each year (MIND.org.uk)
- Approximately 1 in 5 people in the UK will experience suicidal thoughts (MIND.org.uk)
- Between 2017/18 26.8 million working days were lost due to ill health. Of these, 15.4 million days were because of Stress, depression or anxiety (HSE.gov.uk)
I’ve been there personally and had some great support through talking about it. Unfortunately, there is a very good chance that a loved one, friend, family member or a colleague have experienced a mental health problem in the last year and not had the support to talk about it
I will be looking to raise as much money as I can for this great cause and If you would like to make a donation then please show some love and buy raffle tickets via the dedicated MIND hockey fundraising website, for £3 each. 100% of the sale of raffle tickets goes to MIND and all donations will be entered into a prize draw.
Thank you for taking the time to read this and any support/donations given will be massively appreciated by myself and thousands of others.
