Much Wenlock and Paris have an Olympic connection through William Penny Brookes and Pierre de Coubertin, the founding fathers of the modern Olympics.

With four friends, I'm cycling from de Coubertin's house in Paris to William Brookes' house in Much Wenlock in 5 days from 2 - 6 July 2012.

We're jointly raising funds for the William Brookes Foundation, and then each of us is choosing a charity which is special to us individually.  My choice is Cancer Research UK, no surprise if you knew my Mum Val Bennett and the cancer which she endured so bravely.  Please do donate if you can - any amount helps.
