Victim Support is a charity that really hits home for me, as I and loved ones dear to me have experienced the kinds of hardships in life that this charity is there to support you through. It makes me very happy to fundraise for them.

Throughout my life I have battled with depression, but only in recent times have I taken steps to deal with it. As I started down this new path, I had been looking for some way to prove to myself that I could accomplish something significant if I put my all in it. Then the Parish Walk season rolled around and, as an 85 mile route with a 24 hour time limit, I thought, that will do!

So, as well as an opportunity to fundraise for a very important charity, it's also a chance to accomplish a big personal goal.
