Parit Patani is raising money for Guide Dogs
Story
Hello!
Welcome to my JustGiving page. Inspired by Lent and in support of Guide Dogs, I have decided to give up Coca Cola for the month of April.
I love coke - I am a big fan. In fact, I will go as far as saying that my day does not go right if I have not had a can. Going cold turkey for four long weeks is going to be a struggle, but it is something I am willing to do in support of Guide Dogs. The Law Society at my university is fundraising for a puppy room (hosted by Guide Dogs) where students can go and de-stress during the exam period. Mental health is serious issue at this time of year for more people than we would like to imagine. In support of this, I have decided to give up something that often keeps me going.
Equally, anyone who has ever come across a visually impaired person will know just how essential it is that they are as close to being as independent as we are. Guide Dogs takes significant steps in that direction.
Any donations, big or small, will go a long way towards what I think is a very worthy cause. Thank you for reading this and for donating!
