Tough Mudder South West 2016 · 20 August 2016 ·

Bristol Children's Charity has no paid officials and every penny raised by the charity is spent helping children who live within a 25 mile radius of Bristol city centre and are living in conditions of need, hardship or distress. Funds are donated to help these children improve their quality of life.

Story

The Landlady and Head Chef of The Gloucester Old Spot (Amy & Tom) will be completing Tough Mudder on 20th August 2016. This is a 10-12 mile mud and obstacle course designed to drag you out of your comfort zone by testing your physical strength, stamina, and mental grit

We will be raising money for The Bristol Under Privileged Childrens Charity.

This Bristol-based charity was created in the 1970's and their aim is to raise as much money as possible to put back into and enrich the lives of children in a less fortunate position than ourselves.

The Bristol Under Privileged Children’s Charity has no share capital and no paid officials so every last penny raised by the
charity and its supporters is spent helping Bristol children who reside
within a twenty-five mile radius of the city centre. Funds are raised
through donations, functions and subscriptions and are then applied to
grants, items, services or facilities that help to reduce the need,
hardship or distress of these children.

Thanks in advance for helping us raise money for such a great charity.
