Story
Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
WE DID IT! About 130 people slept rough outside Sainsbury's on Friday 12th November including the four from St Botolph's: Bill Croft, John Mullins, Margaret Lawson and me. Over £32,000 was raised - or will be when all the money promised is collected! Thank you very much.
The purpose was to raise the profile of the the problem of homelessness and also to raise £28,500 to buy a much needed new van for the Peterborough Soup Kitchen. The Soup Kitchen provides hot drinks, sandwiches and soup six days a week to 850 homeless people a month.
