Patrick Winterton is raising money for Back Up
Story
On the 1st of May 2008, Patrick will set off on a trip from Aberdovey in Wales, around Ireland, up through the Hebrides and then make the first ever crossing in a kayak to the Faroes. The 2200km trip will take between 9 and 10 weeks.
Following 'Scottish Extremities' and 'Stevenson's Lights' he will make a third film about kayaking adventures focussing on the Islands and wildlife en route.
He hopes to raise money for both the Back-Up Trust (www.backuptrust.org.uk) and Odyssey (www.odyssey.org.uk).
