Story
I am running the London Marathon on the 26th April to raise money for the British Heart Foundation in memory of my sadly missed friend Gavin Elliott of Birtley Gateshead
Gavin was a great friend to lots of people and a fantastic son, husband, father and brother as well as one of the nicest friendliest and kindest gentleman I have had the honour to meet.
Gavin lost his life in August 2014 in very sad and emotional circumstances and I am running this because he was a great athlete and I was always in awe of the times he ran the Great North Run in and I thought I would never match his time but I would like to do something to remember him by and something he would of been proud of me for.
Gavins death has inspired me to do something I never thought I would even consider in the past and that is to keep running after the GNR finished in September and run through the winter in cold and wet conditions to compete in the worlds biggest full marathon.
I would like you all to dig deep and help me raise money Gavin and the great charity that is the British Heart Foundation.
Thanks
