Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.  In November 2010 i intend to join a small team to set off for Everest Base Camp from Lukla to Everest Base Camp, travelling for some 13 days and climbing to an altitude of over 18,200feet - higher than any point in Europe.  I am raising money for the National Deaf Childrens Society - a UK charity raising awareness and support for 35,000 children and parents in the UK to overcome the issues that most able hearing parents would experience when trying to communicate with a child that is born deaf.

For those of you that know me well I do not fail, but then again i have never stretched myself this far before!!!!  It involves plenty of exercise with limited resources, i have been told to not expect electricity, telephones or hot water.....aaarrrggghhhh!!!

This is some challenge - I am training for 9 months, so no 2 week "Jolly Up!". Alcohol has been scrapped and any thing that you can donate would be greatly appreciated.  I will create a blog for those of you daft enough to care about my pain!!!!
