We are a Stockport-based charity offering Rebound Therapy,Trampolining and sensory play to children and young people with disabilities, in a safe, non-judgemental and caring environment. We enable individuals and families in the North West to access physical activity when they are usually exlcuded.

Story

Hi,

Since one of our close friends Lou lost her battle with cancer aged 40, as a group of friends we have very much tried to live life to the full and if we want to do something just do it!!

I (Paul) have always wanted to do a rally tour and decided to seize the day and just get on with it, Dave didn't require much persuasion!! Lou had given my wife her car before she died and as this is exactly the sort of thing she would enjoy, we are taking her with us in the form of her Ford Focus 1.6 2004. And what better way to raise funds for charity close to our hearts.

We considered a couple of charities, our wives have done midnight walks for the hospice that cared for Lou, and we have done swimmathons, but we decided to raise money for a charity that is close to Bradley, my son (Paul). Lou was a very special aunty to Bradley, they had an amazing bond and he misses her terribly. Bradley attends Jumpspace in Stockport.

Jump Space’s specially-adapted centre comprises four professional-standard , a fully-accessible play/recreation area and a state-of-the-art sensory room. It provides a safe, fun, understanding and non-judgmental environment for disabled children and young people, many of whom, due to their impairments, are unable to  other  of  and activity.

Jump Space is also acts as a social hub, offering much-needed respite and support for families across the North West. Our unique provision means that siblings can enjoy trampolining sessions alongside their brothers and sisters, while parents and carers can enjoy a  and a cup of tea in our upstairs café, safe in the knowledge that their children are being well looked after by our fully trained coaches and support staff.

Jumpspace couldn't provide their unique service without the people who support them. By sponsoring us you’ll be making a real difference to the lives of disabled children and young people throughout the North West.
