As many of you know Paul and I are members of an active longstanding team who have for many years supported the London Marathon as baggage handlers in The Mall. Sunday 26 April would have seen us sorting, shifting and returning personal baggage to the weary and successful participants.

Instead, please join us in The 2.6 Challenge and help us to fundraise for Phyllis Tuckwell who do such wonderful work in caring and supporting those in need and their families.

 And please tell us how you plan to meet The 2.6 Challenge on the day - we will enjoy hearing your tales!

Tuesday 21 April - A note of sincere thanks to all our friends and neighbours, families and their friends who have so generously donated, and are donating to our 2.6 Challenge. We are so pleased to be able to support Phyllis Tuckwell in return for the care we are receiving.

Saturday 25 April - It is exactly a week since our JustGiving page was started and we have raised over £3000.00  for our cause, far beyond my expectations. My heartfelt thanks to all who have donated  and will donate in the coming days. Good luck to all those friends, neighbours and family members taking part in their challenges tomorrow - I do hope you enjoy your day :-) Carol
