Story

Myself and a few friends will be taking part in two mini adventures. All expenses on these challenges will be at my cost, and all donations will go direct to CMRT via this page.
The First Adventure.
Monte Carlo or Bust
This a Banger rally (think Cannon ball run but on a budget) which will take place on 3rd June 2016. We have to buy a car for less than £300. It has to be road worthy and legal. Over four days we have to leave England and make our way to Monte Carlo. On route we have to complete daily challenges for which we will receive points for all challenges completed. We have to reach a rendezvous point/hotel each evening when our challenges will be graded and points awarded. The following morning as we depart we will be issued new challenges for that day. On the final day we will end the rally at the Casino in Monte Carlo where the team with the most points will be announced and prizes awarded. As most teams will be in fancy dress there will also be prizes for the best team and best dressed car. There is no set route but we will be travelling through some of Europe’s most exciting locations and on some great roads.

The Second Adventure
Artic Circle and Baltic Sea
On my trusty Motorcycle, on 15th July 2016, and for the 10th time I will be taking my motorcycle off this island. I have always planned to ride my bike up to the Artic Circle, prompted by a few friends we have finally set a date. We will be visiting 16 countries in 15 days. Our route as it stands will be:- England, Belgium, Holland, Germany, Denmark, Sweden, Norway, Sweden, Finland, Russia, Estonia, Latvia, Lithuania, Belarus, Poland, Czech Republic, Poland, Germany, Holland, Belgium and back to England. An approximate distance of 5000 miles plus.
Some of the places of interest that we will be travelling to include. Hamburg, Copenhagen, Gothenburg, Oslo, The Troll Ladder (Norway), The Atlantic Highway (Norway), The Arctic Circle Visitors Centre (Norway), St Petersburg (Russia), Warsaw, Brandenburg Gate (Berlin).
The most Northerly point that we visit will be Røkland in Norway, which is over 40 miles inside the Arctic Circle. Then the route heads South West through Sweden and around the Baltic Sea.
I will be doing this ride with six good friends, staying at some fantastic locations and riding on some breathtaking roads.
