EVERY 90 SECONDS someone in the UK is admitted to hospital with an acquired brain injury (ABI). There are many possible causes, such as a fall, a road traffic accident, an assault, a tumour or a stroke. A brain injury can happen to anyone, at any time. When it does, we're here to help

Story

Thanks for visiting my fundraising page!!

Running the London Marathon has always been an ambitition of mine but never an event I thought I'd find the motivation to train for (especially being a little chubby when I was younger!! ha ha!).

But sadly when we lost our Auntie Sue earlier last year I thought it would be a great idea to run in her memory and at the same time raise some money for other sufferers of brain related injuries and their families.

So I hope you will dig deep into your pockets and donate some hard earned cash to see me struggle around the 26.2 mile course on 26th April 2009  for a magic lady and a fantastic cause!

It also means that after my birthday on the 9th January I am going to cut out alcohol and attempt to become a fully fledged athlete...who'd have thought i'd ever say THAT!

Donating through Justgiving is quick, easy and totally secure. It’s also the most efficient way to sponsor me: Headway - the brain injury association gets your money faster and, if you’re a UK taxpayer, Justgiving makes sure 25% in Gift Aid, plus a 3% supplement, are added to your donation.

So please sponsor me now and don't forget to tick the "GIFT AID" box!
