Flora London Marathon 2009 · 26 April 2009 ·

Back Up services include mentoring, wheelchair skills training and activity courses as well as support in getting back to work or school after an injury. We provide peer led tailored support to help people adjust to a spinal cord injury and inspire independence and confidence for a positive future.

Story

As some of you may be aware I will be running in the London Marathon on the 26th April. This is something of a last minute decision but I have just about enough time to get ready for the 26 miles. The training has begun and I have the blisters and aching knees to show for it. I will be doing the run to support the Back-Up Trust, a charity that runs a range of services for people with spinal cord injuries to encourage independence, self-confidence and motivation following a life changing injury. I would be grateful if you would sponsor me in raising funds for this cause.

Donating through Justgiving is quick, easy and totally secure. It’s also the most efficient way to sponsor me: The Back-Up Trust gets your money faster and, if you’re a UK taxpayer, Justgiving makes sure 25% in Gift Aid, plus a 3% supplement, are added to your donation.

Thanks in advance of your support on helping individuals to face positively a life changing injury.
