Well, everyone else seems to be doing something for charity these days so I figured it was my turn...  

A few of us have taken the plunge and decided to cycle to Paris in aid of the British Heart Foundation - it's apparently going to take us 3 days which I think is optimistic at best but if it takes us any longer we miss the ride home which is an incentive in itself..

The ride takes place at the end of June and we arrive in Paris on the 1st July

I am feeling beyond prepared at this stage having cycled to work about 5 times in the last month - in the spirit of trying to bring the good clean name of cycling back I have not (yet) taken any performance enhancing drugs and am relying on a steady supply of cheese and wine to see me through...

I would of course be extremely grateful for any cash you feel like throwing the way of the British Heart Foundation and i'm sure they will be too - it's all for a good cause to say the least...
