Peak District Trek Challenge · 17 June 2005

Children and adults with Down’s syndrome are all unique individuals with their own personalities, family backgrounds and preferences that make them who they are. We aim to create the conditions that all people with Down’s syndrome need to live full and rewarding lives.

Story

Thank you for visiting our fundraising page.

Despite extremely adverse weather conditions, a serious lack of appropriate clothing, and the extension of the trek by 5km due to impassable peat bog...we did it..!!

Our motley crew managed to avoid getting lost or falling over for long enough to make it through our 35km of Peak District trekking, and while the soaking wet tents left something to be desired we thoroughly enjoyed the experience. It was made all the more worthwhile by the generous sponsorsip of so many people and we thank each and every one of you very much, as does the Down's Syndrome Association.

Should anyone who has not yet sponsored us wish to do so, please note that this site will be open until mid-November.

Donating through this site is simple, fast and totally secure. It is also the most efficient way to sponsor us: The DSA will receive your money faster and, if you are a UK taxpayer, an extra 28% in tax will be added to your gift at no cost to you. Many thanks for your support.
