Earlier this year I challenged my sister Kate to run her first 10k. I backed this up with a £50 bet and the promise to run it with her. I therefore entered us in the Great South Run knowing this would be a massive challenge for her. It was then pointed out to me that the Great South Run was 10 miles NOT 10k !!!!! (should have paid more attention !)

We are still talking ! We then decided we wanted to use this opportunity to raise some money in memory of our AMAZING father who passed away last year. As you may know, he suffered with Dementia for the last few years of his life. We are therefore running for Team Dementia UK and hope we can help them in their fight against this awful illness.

Training is going well and we will keep you updated with our progress. Please support us. Any amount you can spare would be amazing and gratefully received.
