At Princess Alice Hospice, we provide exceptional end of life care in our hospice and in the community. We know we can’t prevent death, but we do whatever we possibly can to make it the best it possibly can be. But, above all, we believe that hospice care is for living.

Story

Hi!!!!

Charlie and I are running the London Marathon this year in memory of our mum who died just over 6 years ago from cancer.

In the process we hope to raise as much money as possible for the Princess Alice Hospice. This was the Hospice where our mum spent the last few weeks of her life. The nurses and staff there made those horrendous few weeks better for both our family and our mum.

In 2009 we were blown away by the overwhelming support for Pedal for Pippa - we hope you will forgive us for asking again as we now Peg it for Pippa.

The Hospice is reliant on fundraising and donations to continue to provide the care and support to other families who need it now. The hospice costs £20,000 to run for a day. If we can raise our ambitious target of £10,000 we will be running the hospice for half a day.

So please give as generously as you can! It really is an amazing cause.
