We here at Southern Hoist believe in supporting charities, even more so in 2020, with many events cancelled they are not receiving the generous donations so greatly needed.  In October, for Breast Cancer Awareness month,  we launched our commitment to the cause and Penny The Pink hoist was born.   In honour of the brave people who have suffered at the hands of this cruel disease and to encourage regular checks, we have dedicated 20% of the hire revenue from Penny to Breast Cancer charities in the hope of finding a cure.

In addition to our donations we would appreciate any donations on this page from our many clients, suppliers and friends.

I myself lost my mum to breast cancer in 2011 and have taken part in 5 London Moonwalks to raise funds for research and care.

Walk the Walk is the largest grant making breast cancer charity in the UK. Being a grant making charity means that everybody taking part in our challenges is raising money for Walk the Walk, we then grant the funds to other charities and organisations throughout the UK, to help them reach our united goals and ambitions of treating breast cancer. We are dedicated to raising money and awareness for vital breast cancer causes and to encourage women, men and children to start walking as a way of keeping fitter and healthier
