Story

There are 32 steps from the kitchen to the top of our Edwardian house. I'm going to climb them 26 times over the next 10 days during the  lockdown.

Please donate if you can to help Acton Homeless Concern. During the health crisis, the charity has been helping rough sleepers into hotels to protect them and handing out free hot takeaway meals to anyone who needs them. You can find out more about the charity's work on Facebook and www.actonhomelessconcerns.org

Save the UK's Charities General fundraising has been hit very hard by the COVID-19 pandemic. Thousands of fundraising events have been cancelled and many charities, particularly smaller ones, are struggling to maintain services because of this huge reduction in income. This impacts all sectors of society from children to the elderly as well as the vital work in areas such as palliative care, serious diseases, mental health, housing support, food supplies and countless others that charities support.

About the campaign
