Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

I was diagnosed with breast cancer in May 2010 so I am using this news unashamedly to ask for your support for Cancerkin, the breast cancer charity that Victoria runs and which I work for. It’s a brilliant charity which understands that dealing with breast cancer isn’t just about medical treatment but about how you feel. Cancerkin is dedicated to making you feel better.

I have already benefitted from Cancerkin’s information about cancer which gave me a lot of confidence for my appointments with the surgeon (a woman!) and the oncologist. And after my two operations I have loved the acupuncture, massage and reflexology (I was always a bit of a sceptic about the last – but not any longer!) as well as the Look Good Feel Better session about pampering one’s looks. Cancerkin has helped keep me fit and feeling better about myself, as it does for many many women who come through its doors. So please donate.
