Nigel was born on 16 Sept 1969 in Southport to very proud parents Viv and Neil. He was educated at Ormskirk Grammar school then onto Ashington College, University of Westminster and finally the National Film School where he won a Scholorship as a Film Director. During his life he made countless short films and won both national and International Awards.

He had suffered bravely from ill health for many years but never let that deter him from following his love of film making. He loved spending time with his family especially his nieces and nephews.

Nigel had a wonderful sense of humour and would often meet up with friends to chat about the latest film project or just to find out how they were getting on.

The loss of Nigel at such a young age is truly a tragic one but his family and friends take great comfort in knowing he lived his life to the full and is at peace at last.
