Loch lomond cycle challenge · 24 April 2009

The Prince & Princess of Wales Hospice, situated in Bellahouston Park, Glasgow, exists to help our patients achieve the best quality of life possible in whatever time remains for them. Where it may not be possible to add days to lives, we aim to add life to days for patients and their families.

Story

Hello all, I have made the effort again this year to organise a charity cycle run to Loch Lomond so I thought I should spread the word and contact you all 2 support  a couple of very special charities. The first is the Second chance project which was set up and founded by my close friend Alex Rae. The charity is appropriately named as everyone deserves a second chance in life and that is exactly what the foundation has provided to a number of grateful individuals. The second chance project tackles the problem of addiction which affects the lives of so many, visit www.thesecondchanceproject.com The second charity is the PPWH (please see below) whose work in caring for not only patients but families affected by terminal illness is an invaluable service that relies heavily on us all for support., so no shyness, dig deep, heaven exists.

The Blond Elvis completed the course and almost finished ahead of everyone. Looks like in excess of £6000 was raiosed on the day and a good time was had by all. Thank you for all your kind contributions.
