Hiking the Pacific Crest Trail · 22 April 2016

Chestnut Tree House is the children’s hospice for East Sussex, West Sussex, Brighton and Hove and South East Hampshire, caring for 300 children and young adults from 0-19 years of age every year, both at the hospice and in families’ own homes.

Story

I always wanted to take a gap year that wasn't from a brochure. So that's exactly what I'm doing - for Chestnut Tree House.

On 3rd April 2016, I will start walking the 2650-mile Pacific Crest Trail. Passing through California, Oregon and Washington, I aim to finish the trail by the end of August. I will be camping the the whole way, and I'll take a guitar along the way with me to write some music as I go, so that's at least something to keep me mildly sane!

I'm aiming to raise about £500 for Chestnut Tree House. Please support me on this massive journey, with whatever you can. Thank you.
