#pinkno Break the silence say NO to demestic violence · 26 April 2017
Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
My name is Sheena, and I firstly want to say thank you for visiting this page, taking the time to simply read this means very much to myself and many others.
For many years I have been not so much a victim, more put through my paces and have had my endurance to live tested from childhood well untill I was 27. This is when I decided that I wasn't going to give my children the life I lived and left my abuser for good! Left my belongings and family behind along with the bruises, the tears the fear and with my children we created our new life together. I had always felt alone untill I knew about women's aid and they truly allowed me and my children along with many I met along the way to become the happy people we are today. Unfortunately many stories dont end as well and I would like to hope that we can give the courage to many to speak up and to actually say NO... No ...enough is enough and we dont have to be ashamed.
I am Sheena and I am no longer ashamed to suffer In silence,
so, please share a picture of yourself with the #pinkno hashtag and celebrate someone success or someone's heartache. In doing so it may just prompt someone to build that courage and break their own silence and say no to domestic violence.
