Story

Thank you for visiting this fundraising page.

On Saturday 14th July 2007 I will join a group of family and friends to abseil 200ft (61 Meters) down the side of No.1 Hagley Rd, Birmingham, UK, a local landmark building! I am dedicating my part in this event to my sister Denise Simeonov who tragically died last year from Leukaemia, just 43 years old, leaving her partner and 3 children. The proceeds from this event are donated directly to the Anthony Nolan Trust, a charity dedicated to taking back lives from leukemia by finding life saving donors for patients in need of a bone marrow transplant.

Donating through this site is simple, fast and totally secure. It is also the most efficient way to donate: Anthony Nolan Trust will receive your money electronically and, if you are a UK taxpayer, an extra 28% in Gift Aid will be added to your donation at no cost to you. If you are located outside the UK you can still give by just entering a GBP (£) amount and this will be converted into your home currency by your credit card provider. A rough exchange rate guide is US$:£ 2:1 or €:£ 1,5:1.

If you have already given to your charities of choice or, for whatever reason are not able to donate then your moral support in the form of good wishes to complete a task, which, I view with some trepidation are very welcome.

Thank you for visiting my fundraising page and please feel free to send the link to others.

Many thanks for your support.
