I am excited to be running in my first proper marathon.  I am particularly thrilled to be running for Mencap. The money raised will help support people with a learning disability to live their lives as they choose. My family is particularly appreciative of the charity's work, as Mencap housed and help care for my severely disabled sister Helen for all of her adult life.

I promise not to make a habit of this. So please dig deep and support this great cause (especially as Deutsche Bank will match the first £1000 raised £ for £).
