Cambourne 10k Business Challenge 2017 · 2 April 2017 ·

The Wildlife Trust for Beds, Cambs and Northants works to make our three counties wilder. We manage over 100 nature reserves, monitor habitats and species, work with others to help them manage their land for wildlife, and encourage and inspire people to love and take action for nature close to home.

Story

The Cambourne 10k Race will take place on Sunday 2 April 2017. The course passes in and around the beautiful nature reserve and country park at Cambourne in Cambridgeshire, and is a great opportunity for people to discover, enjoy and share The Wildlife Trust BCN's work.

The money we raise will help maintain the habitats of threatened species, such as the dormouse, barn owl, otter, water vole and the Fen violet. There are many projects being undertaken by the Trust, such as the Great Fen, the West Cambridgeshire Hundreds and the North Chilterns Chalk Living Landscapes; these are important not just for the wildlife but also for the fight against climate change and for providing people with a greater connection to nature. Your support really will make an impact.
