Story

If you're here, you're already doing something brilliant.

The best gift we could ask for in celebration of our marriage is your time and friendship; please stay in our lives and let's make plans.

This site is a chance to mark the occasion by paying it forward and showing kindness to a stranger this Christmas. Caring at Christmas is a small project based just a few roads from where we live. The shelter opens its door from Christmas Eve through to the New Year and offers refuge, healthcare, skills training and companionship to those who find themselves without a home over Christmas.

The organisation gives beds to 50+ people a night and provides around 300 hot meals a day. All the money for this comes from fundraising, so what you do here makes a direct difference to the lives of people who need an extra bit of compassion to be ready for a fresh start in 2016.

It's a simple thing, but we couldn't think of a better cause to support.
