Statistics from Alzheimer’s Research UK tell us that Dementia
currently affects 850,000 people in the UK, and this figure is expected to grow rapidly over the coming years. 38% of the UK population (24.6 million people) know a family member of close friend living with dementia.
On Saturday 14th October 2017 a hardy team from Pound Gates & Sevatas will be taking part in the Ipswich Defeat Dementia Walk, a
10-mile walk around Ipswich to raise funds for Alzheimer’s Research UK. As a team we are hoping, with your kind support, to raise £500 and contribute towards beating the total of £22,000 raised at last year’s event.
