I'm running my first ever half marathon on 10/10/10 through the Royal Parks.  A special date and a special challenge for me!  So I've decided that committing to raise money for a charity that I believe in would be a real incentive to get through it!

Article 25 brings skills from the built environment to meet the shelter and housing needs of areas around the world which are struck by disaster or poverty.  Its projects help the local community, economy and ecology.  They are in Haiti, Sierra Leone, Pakistan, Afghanistan - to name but a few of their projects.  See www.article-25.org for more details.

I have seen these guys make a difference.  Whatever little you can give will be appreciated, and I promise you that I will think of every penny as I go around the 21 km route!  That's about £24 per kilometre, if I reach my target fundraising amount.
