On 22nd September 2012 volunteers from AMEC (Baku, Azerbaijan) together with Green Baku and volunteers from  Coca-Cola aim to clean-up the garbage on  one of Baku’s beaches

 

I am proud to say that on an earlier Clean-up day we cleared up to 2 tonnes of garbage.  This time we have decided  to increase our efforts and clear 5 tonnes of garbage  for a good cause.

 

By sponsoring the team of volunteers on this just giving web page the money we raise will be donated to support the International SOS Children’s Village in Baku, Azerbaijan and provide them with solar heating and hot water systems that will replace existing less efficient systems and provide a cheaper and reliable service for the village

 

Children in the orphanages are devoid of parent care and love,the conditions they have  had to live in leaves much to be desired.

 

As responsible citizens of the world it is our duty to help  vulnerable children wherever they are in need .
