Event: Barcelona Marathon 2015, on 15 March 2015
We give music therapy to children & adults to Make Music Change Lives in Scotland

Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

I'm running the Barcelona marathon in a few weeks for the Nordoff Robbins Music Therapy charity. The charity is dedicated to transforming the lives of children and adults with a range of challenges such as autism, dementia, mental health problems, stroke, brain injury, depression and life-threatening or terminal illnesses, through music therapy.

As usual, I'm way behind on the fundraising but this is deliberate as I need to know I'll be at the start line before badgering you all for donations! Rest assured, dodgy knee and current cold aside, I'll be in Placa Espanya on March 15th, ready to run.

This is marathon number 5 and the third in the past 12 months. I've been training pretty much constantly since January 2014 so the general appeal of running is wearing a bit thin!

By donating, you are providing the extra motivation which gets me round the course and stops me curling up into a ball at the side of the road at mile 22.

What's more, you're giving to an amazing cause so feel good! Nordoff Robbins does excellent work here in Scotland and all over the world, making a difference to many people's quality of life through music. Any donations are greatly appreciated.

Cheers.
