We help young people to overcome their barriers and find work

Story

We are an inclusivity focused Team on a Prince's Trust Team Programme and looking to raise money for our Community Projects and Team Challenge. We will be working with St Ann's Allotments (STAA) and Sneinton Tenants Outreach Programme, looking and renovating areas with both organisations.

To raise money we will be undertaking a sponsored walk on Tuesday 9th March and streaming a marathon game of Among Us on Friday 5th March (link will be posted before event).

Any donation would be gratefully received.

Inspire and Achieve Foundation: We aim to eradicate youth unemployment in deprived local communities and support the rehabilitation and progression of young people who have had a tough start in life. Many of the young people we support have barriers such as addiction, homelessness, poor mental health, teenage pregnancy, abuse, have grown up in care, have learning difficulties, criminal records and/or have been bullied. We look at a young person’s potential rather than judge them on their past and make sure they get another chance.

About the charity

IAF helps disadvantaged young people who are Not in Education, Employment or Training (NEET) overcome barriers, find their motivation, and progress into employment or education. Our youth workers use a combination of outreach, mentoring and training to affect positive change in young people’s lives.
