We've done it! It was very hard!! We managed it in 1:03:15!

We took up running in March after the doctor told dad if he did not do something more than golf he would die (being type 2 diabetic he needed to get his heart pumping more), or at least this was what he told me to blackmail me into running with him.

Now we are 6 months in and he loves it and his blood sugar has dropped, but I cannot stand it!

 

Weston park is a charity close to our hearts after losing several family members and one of my dad's close friends to cancer. Dad and I are also running this for my dad's best friend Brian who is ill with cancer and receiving treatment in the south of England at the moment.

We are really lucky to have such a wonderful hospital in Sheffield and if we can raise just a little bit of money to help in any way we will puff and pant our way round Endcliffe Park.
