Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my page

On Sunday 20th September myself, along with my colleagues, are taking part in the Chariots of Fire race (http://www.chariots-of-fire.co.uk/) which is being held in support of East Anglia’s Children’s Hospices (EACH), and their provision of a team of specialist nurses who deliver a high quality symptom management service 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

The EACH True Colours Symptom Management Team aims to ensure all life-threatened children, young people and their families living in Cambridgeshire, Essex, Norfolk and Suffolk, have access to vital support and advice when they need it most. They provide families with choices to manage their child or young person’s healthcare needs and symptoms in a place of their choosing and work with families and local care professionals to develop individual symptom management plans.

The team facilitates access to specialist medical advice and psychological care, anticipatory symptom management and prescribing and care planning.
