Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit our Just Giving page.

A team of 30 runners have committed to run the ASDA Hull 10k to raise money towards the big purple build - which is fundraising for the new purpose built women's centre for Winner The Preston Road Women's Centre to enable them to continue to offer and develop services for women and children across Hull.

The charity currently delivers a range of services including specialist domestic abuse support, specialist housing service, Affordable Justice (not for profit legal service), young women's support service, youth club, nursery provision, a variety of training courses, volunteer opportunities and an on site charity shop. All of the services are aimed at empowering women and young girls and enabling them to make positive choices. A new purpose built centre will allow the continuation of all of these services but also further development to continue to meet the needs of women and children.
