Story
Peter Welton died suddenly and unexpectedly on Sunday, 26 September 2010 at his home. He suffered a massive heart attack and died immediately and peacefully.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to one of Peter's favourite East London charities, the Leaside Educational Trust.
Peter was an inspirational, passionate and committed man who believed that all people, especially the young, should have the chance to thrive and to change the world. That is the aim of Leaside Educational Trust. Peter would be very happy to know that they have been chosen to receive contributions in his name.
Contributions in Peter's memory may be made on this secure site. Alternatively, donations may be sent directly to Leaside Educational Trust (+44 208 806 6887).

Message from Leaside:
Peter was much loved by everyone at Leaside. Thanks to his help over the years we were able to help thousands of disadvantaged young people in .
Peter set up invaluable links and introductions for us which resulted both in crucial funding and also helped our charity to become a more professionally run organisation. He was so hands-on with our charity that he even helped us to furnish our clubhouse a few years back.
There will be children splashing about in canoes on the river Lea in Hackney, having fun, for many years to come, thanks to Peter.
Thank you for your consideration and good wishes.
