Story

In memory of Andrew Stewart (Moose)

Andy's family: Sue, Jackie, William, Katie, Megan and Rachael will be taking part in this year's Kilt walk to remember Andy and raise awareness of Bladder Cancer. We would be very grateful for any donations, to help fund further research and help raise awareness of symptoms to save lives.

Please feel free to be part of Moose's Army and sign up for the Big Stroll on Sunday 27th of April @ 9am.

* Bladder cancer is not a rare cancer - it is of the ten most common cancers in the UK - that's 4% of all new cases.

Over 20,000 people are diagnosed each year, and many of those will die. Despite this, there is very limited public awareness of the disease and it is a low priority on the public health agenda. Treatments have changed very little over the past 30 years and research is seriously underfunded. Bladder cancer has been called a 'Cinderella' cancer. ABC UK is dedicated to changing this and to giving bladder cancer patients a voice.
