We’re Breast Cancer Now, the charity that’s steered by world-class research and powered by life-changing care. We’re here for anyone affected by breast cancer, the whole way through, providing support for today and hope for the future. By 2050, we believe everyone diagnosed with breast cancer will live – and be supported to live well. But we need to act now.

Story

As it approaches 2 years since Mum passed away I wanted to firstly mark the occasion, give me something positive to focus on and more importantly raise some money for a charity which was so close to Mum's heart - October is Breast Cancer awareness month so what better time to challenge ourselves and try to raise some money,

Between 9th October and 9th November we are going to try and run 155 miles (Approx 250km) between the 5 of us (yes I am including a 3 year old in this!)

Why 155 miles I hear you ask!! - Well that represents 1 mile for each day between the day we found out Mum was poorly and the day she passed away.

155 miles equates to each of the 5 of us running a mile a day for the whole month however realistically Oliver will not be able to do this so the rest of us will have to pick up the slack!

Any donation you can give in Mum's memory will be greatly received and will definitely encourage us all to keep on running especially on the cold rainy dark nights of October/November.
