The Covid-19 pandemic has shown how vulnerable the world can be, how quickly things can change. But for some children and families, facing uncertainty is nothing new and they need our help more than ever. TLG provide crucial year-round support to struggling children and families throughout the UK. From St Ives to Inverness, TLG partner with churches to ensure that no child grows up without hope. From school exclusion, to poverty and holiday hunger, there are children across the UK facing some of the toughest starts in life. Through no fault of their own, children were caught up in the riptide of inequality long before the pandemic arrived. This crisis has only exacerbated the difference. But in the despair, there is hope. TLG and their church partners believe that change is possible and are committed to seeing lives transformed for good. The Covid-19 pandemic is having a catastrophic impact on vulnerable children and families. But we, and TLG, want to help! There has never been a better time to stand with TLG. During the last couple of months, the TLG Make Lunch clubs have delivered a staggering 30,000 meals to families. The TLG Early Intervention coaches have provided an anchor of stability to children who were already struggling to cope. And the TLG Education Centre students have been receiving the best online and face-to-face support and doorstep check-ins by our dedicated team of front-line heroes. As our lockdown begins to ease can you help us keep struggling children and families at the forefront of the nations mind?Team Hope (Rachel, Dan and Miriam) are aiming to raise £1,500 which will go directly towards helping TLG reach 10,000 struggling children this year.
