If you're even vaguely aware of the news then you know that the way so many refugees are being treated in Europe is shameful (though some people are being just brilliant in the face of another human being just needing a hand, which is great), and no-one should have to risk death in the first place just to be abandoned homeless and left in limbo in a foreign place. The compassion deficit out there in some quarters is fucking heartbreaking. My own government are pathetic and it makes me feel an extra obligation to really do something.

So, the only thing I have in the world that might be worth any money to the internet is the last fic I ever wrote in the Glee! fandom - a whopping fifty-odd thousand words of a fucked up fairy tale about power, love, and the redemptive power of just bloody thinking about someone else. And even though I'm long out of the fandom and it needs some work, I'll be polishing it up and posting it in the next couple of weeks.
